The second morning of my hike from Xela to Lake Atitlan, Guatemala with Quetzaltrekkers we ate breakfast at a local comedor in the village of Santa Catarina, next door to this butcher shop.
Halfway up the climb to 3,060m on my hike with Quetzaltrekkers, we stopped, exhausted, for a break.
Ok. I’m going to admit something here. I have a sensitive stomach. So when I travel, I am usually hugely cautious about food.
During my time in Antigua, I was lucky enough to meet up with fellow Sydneysiders and travel bloggers, Anthony and Elise from Positive World Travel.
Okay, so I didn’t take this shot (because I’m in it!) but it’s just too sweet not to share it with you.
