Images of life on the dusty (and largely unpaved) roads of Myanmar.
It takes a long time to get anywhere in Burma. The roads are in terrible condition and the buses not much better. It can take 12 hours to travel 300 kilometres and most buses travel by night. Breakdowns and long waits are common.
Getting around on foot – or by bicycle! – is even slower, but much less stressful.
Alicia and I took to two wheels to explore the temples of Bagan…
…but I never quite got the hang of it.
