One of my favourite things to do in London is go on a London Walk. Dawn and I had planned to do a literary Bloomsbury walk our first full day in the city, but it was pouring rain and after spending the morning traipsing through Kensington Palace Gardens, we weren’t really feeling it.
The next day, though, was bright and sunny and as the early afternoon approached, it actually grew hot. We jumped on a tube and hightailed it to Hampstead, to take the Hampstead Village Walk.
Hampstead truly is a world away from London. There was minimal traffic (mostly) and the Hampstead Parish Churchyard was just the place for reading the paper in the sunshine. Click on the photo for a larger size.
